A fun show in Hiroshima

Had a lovely couple of days in Hiroshima. Arrived the day before so we could set up the stage for the show the following morning. Stayed in a nice onsen hotel (hot spa hotel). Very relaxing soak in the rotenburo (outdoor hot spring). It was so nice to have the bath to myself to unwind and enjoy the sounds of nature under the night sky. Perfect!
The show went really well. The back half of the audience was grandmas & grandpas, the front half was elementary & junior school kids. The show was being filmed for a local TV station but, unfortunately, there was a flu outbreak at school and all the children were wearing masks to prevent it spreading. Bad timing. If I had known earlier I would've asked them all to draw smiles on their masks. Ha ha. They were actually laughing though and it was a fun show. The audience, staff and volunteers were WONDERFUL! A big 'Thanks you' for the yummy homemade vegetarian meal. I amost didn't want to eat it bcause it was so beautifully presented.
