International Jazz Day in Osaka

What a great life I have.

Received a complimentary ticket to the outdoor International Jazz Day Concert at Osaka Castle. It's only about a 5 minute cycle from my house to the castle. I soaked up the wonderful vibe, was entertained by Herbie Hancock, Sheila E, (drummer for Prince in the 80's) and some other AMAZING musicians and was pleasantly surprised by an appearance by Dionne Warwick.

After the concert, I called my local Indian restaurant to ask what time they closed and was told that they were just about to close but would stay open for my friend & I. They even gave us a free lassi. Cycled home feeling very content. Yes, life really is treating me well.
