Diane has now visited almost 60 countries.

"Personally, I think that the best choice I ever made in my life was to go travelling.

 I can look back on all the crazy adventures I've had, the wonderful people I've met, the incredible places I've visited, the various cultures I've observed and the deep and  moving experiences I've had. Amazing memories I can cherish forever. Of course, there were challenges along the way but I believe it's how we handle them that makes us into the people we are.

I highly recommend travelling to everyone. I hope that people who are nervous about taking that first step will find the courage to take it. I think I'll still be backpacking when I'm 100 years old, but if anything happens to me tomorrow, I'll leave this world knowing that I did what made me happy and I found myself on the path that brought me here. My life is never boring and I do feel that I'm living my dream."
